Step 2 — Scope & Schedule
Approve your estimate, sign the agreement, and submit a 25% deposit to lock your project date. We schedule deck and fence projects during dry weather windows and monitor forecasts to confirm your start date in advance. The remaining 75% is collected only after the final walkthrough — no surprise charges, no payment until you're satisfied.
Step 3 — Surface Preparation
This is the most critical step. Concrete must be profiled (roughened) so the coating bonds mechanically to the surface. We use diamond grinding or mechanical preparation to open the pores of the concrete. This step is what separates a coating that lasts from one that peels. Simply cleaning concrete and applying coating over a smooth surface leads to adhesion failure, often within the first year.
Step 4 — Repair
Cracks, joints, and spalled areas are filled and leveled before coating. On garage floors, expansion joints are cleaned and re-filled with flexible joint compound that moves with the slab. The goal is a smooth, uniform surface for the coating to cover.
Step 5 — Coating Application
We apply the polyaspartic coating system in layers: primer/base coat, decorative flake broadcast (if selected), and topcoat/sealer in your choice of matte or gloss finish. Step 6 — Cure & Walkthrough
Concrete coatings need time to cure before the surface can handle foot traffic (typically 24 hours) and vehicle weight or furniture (typically 48–72 hours).
